A Burger Takeover with Chef Katy Cheung of Bread & Beast

The latest round of Burger Takeover at Butchers Club Burger will kick off from 10 – 24 May and will feature one of the hottest sandwich shops in Hong Kong, Bread & Beast. On 10 May from noon – 2pm, Chef Katy Cheung from Bread & Beast will be making a special appearance at The Butchers Club Burger on Landale Street in Wan Chai to showcase Bread & Beast’s special burger #BeastCode.

This is a Spiced Lamb Burger with seared Halloumi, Pickled Zucchini Tempura, Preserved Lemon Aioli, Micro Cilantro and Fresh Mint. Priced at HK$130, 5% of proceeds will be donated to Bread & Beast’s choice of charity, Food Angel.

“Most say The Butchers Club does the best burger in Hong Kong and we think Bread & Beast does the best sandwiches in Hong Kong. It’s a no brainer for both sides to work together on our Burger Takeover and let’s see what these dudes from Vancouver have got up their sleeves with their very first burger, the #BeastCode,” says Butchers Club Corporate Executive Chef Aarik Persaud.

“This is going to be a very interesting collaboration when the best sandwich of Hong Kong meets the best burger of Hong Kong. Let’s find out how we do given this is our first crack at serving a delicious burger,” says Head Chef Katy Cheung of Bread & Beast.

Bread & Beast’s #BeastCode burger will be available at all four of The Butchers Club Burger’s locations in Wan Chai, Central, K11 at Tsim Sha Tsui and the newly opened location in Tai Koo Shing.
