The Butchers Club Burger Introduces The Gambler

The guys at The Butchers Club love them some fried chicken. They're also obsessed with the "Seinfeld" episode featuring the Kenny Rodgers Roasters chicken restaurant with the crazy red neon light that almost sent Kramer over the edge – hence the birth of The Gambler.

The Gambler is a spicy chicken sandwich which has literally been selling like hot cakes since its introduction at The Butchers Club Burger TST @ K11 Mall in Hong Kong, where it was trialled for month before being launched company-wide on 6th January 2016.

The burger consists of an Australian free-range chicken thigh fillet that is marinated overnight in buttermilk and other secret ingredients. In the morning it's double breaded in a crunchy mixture of flour and spicy seasoning. The fillet is fried to order until golden brown and crispy before being tossed in a spicy glaze of Frank's Red Hot sauce and clarified butter.

The chicken is served in a buttermilk and olive oil burger bun, on a bed of lettuce and a thick slice of beef tomato. The whole thing is topped with a blue cheese and celery slaw plus crumbled blue cheese.

Not drooling yet? Let's see how you feel after this photo:

The Gambler is best served with an ice cold beer which is why each sandwich comes with one free bottle of Peroni. See ya there, buddy. We'll try to save you a seat.
