The Butchers Club Burger is continuing its domination of the Hong Kong burger scene with its latest announcement: A fourth Butchers Club Burger in Tai Koo Shing will open at the end April 2016.
The latest Butchers Club Burger restaurant is 1,400 sq ft and located at G/F, Westland Gardens, 12 Westlands Road, Quarry Bay, just across from One Island East. The new restaurant will seat approximately 70 guests and the company's first ever bar, that will focus of draft craft beers.
This may be a new location, but the same product-driven integrity and traditional craftsmanship that earned The Butchers Club Burger a listing in the 2016 Michelin Guide will prevail. The black Angus beef is dry-aged for up to 30 days using traditional techniques then minced by hand within the restaurants throughout the day. The regular menu will feature The Butchers Club’s signature dry-aged beef burger with cheddar, maple-glazed bacon and caramelised onion spread as well as the brand’s signature triple-cooked duck fat fries. There will of course also be a Secret Menu accessible via a QR code, which will include a selection of some of the city’s most Instagrammed burgers such as the Double Happiness, Wu Tang-Style, Captain Ahab, The Gambler and more.
To mark the opening of the new restaurant, a new Breakfast Menu will be introduced, featuring a Bacon Egg & Cheese Sandwich (HK$45), Fried Chicken Sandwich with Sriracha Sauce (HK$65), Sausage Egg & Cheese Sandwich (HK$75), Sausage & Bacon Sandwich (HK$85) and the Red Eye Reduction (HK$120). Only the finest English Muffins, Maple Bacon, New Zealand Cheddar Cheese and Irish Pork Sausages will be served.
The Butchers Club opened its first branch of The Butchers Club Burger in Wan Chai in June 2014. The restaurant was an immediate success, with queues around the block, as many considered these burgers the best in Hong Kong. Within six months, the brand had opened a second burger restaurant on Wellington Street in Central, as well as its first international outlet in Bali, Indonesia.
The group has recently opened its second international store, in Singapore’s Clarke Quay, just a month before opening in K11, Tsim Sha Tsui.
