A Burger Takeover with Chef Billy Otis of Lily & Bloom

The latest round of A Burger Takeover will kick off from 12 – 26 April and feature New York-native Billy Otis, Head Chef of Hong Kong’s ever-popular dining hotspot Lily & Bloom.

On 12 April from noon – 2pm, Chef Billy will be making a special appearance at The Butchers Club Burger on Wellington Street, Central to showcase Lily & Bloom’s specially designed burger, Bloom Smokey BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with Smokey Jalapeno Cheese Sauce, Applewood Bacon, Ancho BBQ Sauce, Crispy Onion Ring and Wagyu Patty.

Priced at HK$160, 5% of proceeds will be donated to Chef Billy’s choice of charity, Foodlink Foundation. This special burger will also be available at Lily & Bloom during the promotional period. “For our Burger Takeover, we always want to work with the finest chefs in the region to bring the best Guest Chef burger experience to Butchers Club Burger.

By Hong Kong standards, Lily & Bloom is one of the few ‘old’ American restaurants since 2009, and their burgers are always delicious. "I can only say our customers will have a real treat with Chef Billy’s Bloom Smokey BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger,” says Butchers Club Corporate Executive Chef Aarik Persaud.

“What’s a better way to do something together with the boys at The Butchers Club than to showcase our LB-style burger on their home-turf? Let’s see what customers think of our classic American burger with a twist compared to The Butchers Club’s signature dry-aged beef burger,” muses Head Chef Billy Otis of Lily & Bloom.

Chef Billy’s Bloom Smokey BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger will be available in all three of The Butchers Club Burger’s locations in Wan Chai, Central and Tsim Sha Tsui.
