Hong Kong’s favourite dry-aged meat connoisseurs strike again - this time by presenting a day of delicious food and endless entertainment that you and your family aren’t likely to forget. Grab the kids and head on up to The Butchers Club’s expansive 17th floor rooftop event space in Wong Chuk Hang, where The Southside Market Long Lunch will kick off from 12pm – 5pm on the 24th of April.
Following the overwhelming success of its most recent (and sold out!) Easter Southside Market Long Lunch with more than 400 guests, the upcoming Butchers Club Southside Market Long Lunch will feature a sumptuous buffet lunch, live band and a number of selected food & beverage, magazine, fitness and other small business vendors. All participating vendors will be announced within the first week of April. Face painters, lawn games and a 16th floor kids’ cinema will keep the little ones amused, while adults can hit up the free-flow bar and have a ball of their own.
The Butchers Club and its subsidiaries are pulling out all the stops to make sure that no one walks out hungry. Catering to all tastes, the Butchers Club’s buffet lunch includes a salad bar, spit & carvery, BBQ, dessert station and even multiple delicious vegetarian options. The Butchers Club Burger will be delighting the masses with a mini version of their Wu Tang Style burger from the Secret Menu, and Steak Frites by The Butchers Club will showcase their classic Tuna Melt open sandwich. Try your hand at the interactive British Cookery workshop headed by The Butchers Club’s own Regional Executive Chef Tom Brimble – a fun activity for the family, and secretly an opportunity to convert your kids into little foodies! Finally, Butchers Barrel will be offering a fine array of cheese, charcuterie, while selling a selection of The Butchers Club’s famous meats, so you can do it all over again at home.
The Butchers Club Southside Market tickets are priced at HK$550 per adult and HK$250 per child (free entry for kids under the age of 8), and can be purchased through both Ticketflap and The Butchers Club’s Online Store. Tickets will give you unlimited trips to the cooked food stalls and complimentary beverages all day.
In the event of bad weather, the market will be moved downstairs to the 7,000 square foot event space on the 16th floor—the very same floor the freezing, yet extremely popular, Australia Day Southside Market was held due to it being the coldest day in Hong Kong in almost 60 years. So no matter the weather, the Southside Market Easter Long Lunch is going to be an event you don’t want to miss.
