The Secret Kitchen by The Butchers Club Promises a Dining Experience Like No Other

The Butchers Club raises the private-dining stakes with bespoke events to fit any agenda at The Secret Kitchen

A characterful venue packed with show-stopping curiosities and collectibles, all of which are available for purchase, guests’ experiences at The Secret Kitchen will be akin to being entertained at the home of a whimsical friend. From vintage Louis Vuitton luggage to quirky memorabilia, the unique interior is second only to the jaw-dropping meals served at family-style tables.

Situated in Wong Chuk Hang, long a hideaway for Hong Kong’s in-the-know, The Secret Kitchen boasts 14,000 square feet of event space, split equally between the 7,000 square foot 16th floor and a 7,000 square foot roof top with fantastic views.

Focused around the finest dry-aged beef, for which The Butchers Club is known best, guests can sit back and relax while the expert team whips up an intimate dinner or large-format celebration like no other.

Kicking off with an impressive Butchers Board, a sumptuous spread of Roasted MarrowHouse Corned Beef and tongue-tingling Angus Beef & Horseradish Sausages. Servings of the steaming Pull-Apart Bread, freshly baked in-house, are the perfect accompaniment with The Butchers Clubs famed dry-aged beef salt adding an extra smack of umami to each bite.

Next up is the Seafood Trough featuring the finest seasonal sustainable seafood, guests can expect raw bar favourites such as freshly shucked Coffin Bay oysters served with classic condiments, and a citrusy Pacific Swordfish Crudo with fennel, orange, pink peppercorns and garlic chips.

The piece de resistance is, of course, The Big Beef Experience — a choice of certified Angus beef rib or short loin, custom dry-aged for at least 30 days for unbeatable flavour. Best served medium rare, the impressive cut of beef is carved tableside and presented alongside a range of delicious sides and sauces, including house made Green Peppercorn and Brandy Jus and Argentinian Style Chimichurri.

A mouthwatering selection of add-ons allows guests to up the ante with the likes of Jumbo Alaskan King Crab Legs or Nova Scotia Lobster Tails.

Every meal is capped with an expertly crafted pie or cake, as per guests’ preference whether it be a slice of Key Lime or wedge of indulgent classic Carrot Cake. As well as beers and exclusive digestifs available for pre-order, a range of fine wines and champagnes can be served if desired.

With service at the heart of The Butchers Club, all events can be tailored to suit a party’s needs; items can be reimagined as finger food or sharing plates alike. From weddings to relaxed rooftop barbecues to simple cocktails and canapés to plentiful buffet spreads, no two events at The Secret Kitchen will be the same.
